The theory, technique, and practice of yoga is designed to help us navigate how to move beyond the suffering of being in a body. When we ground ourselves in practices that are functional, it allows us to create space in the body, breath and mind. In this 45 minute Katonah Yoga flow practice, we begin with functional movement that activates our ground floor (specifically feet, glutes, and hamstrings) building to a sequence of back bending postures.
